About Valerie von Frank

Valerie von Frank has been a communications consultant since 2000. She has worked as a reporter and as an editor managing news staff for several daily U.S. newspapers, as communications specialist for a large urban school system, and formed and directed the communications and marketing department for a nonprofit education reform organization. She has co-authored several books and edited others, edited an international education journal, and written dozens of articles over the last decade for numerous publications. Her bachelor’s degree is in English and French literature, and she has a master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University.
