Washington Slagbaai National Park

The Washington Slagbaai National Park is one of the six Bonaire Important Bird Areas under the BirdLife International protocol of important bird areas in the Caribbean. The park has been denominated as IBA AN009. It has a hilly terrain which includes Mount Brandaris, the island’s highest point. The WSNP is formally protected within the national system.
