Red-billed Tropicbird

The Red-billed Tropicbird (Phaethon aethereus) spends most of its life flying over open ocean, plunge-diving for fish and squid and is rarely seen on land.

Common Thresher Shark

Featured this month is the Common Thresher Shark (Alopias vulpinus). With its distinctively long tail fin, this species is a truly captivating sight.
