Florence Depondt-Sachdev has worked in the field of coral reef conservation and protected area management for over a decade. After working as a Project Coordinator for the Coral Reef Alliance, she took up the position of Project Manager at STINAPA Bonaire from 2007 to 2008. She has been consulting for the Dutch Caribbean Nature Alliance ever since.
Her work with DCNA has been varied and has included working on the text for the Washington Slagbaai National Park guide and bird guide book, bird ID cards for several parks, the development of materials for a dive staff training course, the drafting of a Lionfish Management Plan, the drafting of a conservation review of all six Dutch Caribbean Islands, as well as helping with the development of a Dutch Caribbean wide youth nature education program . She also writes DCNA’s “species in the spotlight” blog and is working on DCNA’s species database.
