Dr. Glenn Thodé is a governance and law expert who joined the DCNA Board in 2013. Prior to becoming the Rector of the University of Aruba, where he is currently employed, Dr. Thodé served as the Governor of Bonaire. He himself is a graduate of the University of Aruba at the Faculty of Law.
Dr. Glenn Thodé has also studied at the University of Groningen and obtained his PhD in 2006 with the thesis “A system of criminal procedure guarantees – a study on legal and enforcement measures in the codes of criminal procedure of the Netherlands Antilles and Aruba.”
Dr. Thodé is a community leader who was involved in set-up and implementation of the first legislation to institute a nature reserve on Aruba, Parke Nacional Arikok. In this period the management entity of the freshly established nature reserve was transformed from a public to a semi-private entity.
